Common questions

How long does an installation take?

Residential systems typically install in 1–2 days once materials are on-site. Commercial 5–10kVA systems take 3–5 days, and 3-phase or industrial builds run 1–3 weeks depending on civil work, roof access, and certification requirements.

Do you supply the panels, batteries and inverter, or do I buy them?

We supply everything as a complete turnkey installation, including warranties. If you already own equipment in good condition we can audit it, integrate it, and quote labour-only — but we will not install batteries or inverters that are dead-on-arrival or unsafe.

What warranty do I get?

12 months workmanship warranty from us covering installation, wiring, and labour. Manufacturer warranties pass through to you: 25 years on Tier-1 mono panels, 5 years on hybrid inverters, 5–10 years on LiFePO4 lithium batteries, and 18 months on tubular batteries.

Lithium or tubular batteries — which should I choose?

Lithium (LiFePO4) lasts 10+ years, accepts 80–90% depth of discharge, charges faster, and is maintenance-free. Tubular costs less upfront but lasts 2–4 years, only allows ~50% discharge, and needs water top-ups. For most homes and all businesses we recommend lithium — the per-year cost works out cheaper.

Can I add more panels or batteries later?

Yes — every system we install uses a hybrid inverter sized with headroom and a battery bank that can be expanded. We document the design so phase-2 expansion is clean.

Do you cover locations outside Lagos?

Yes. We install across Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Enugu, and most Nigerian states. Sites outside our major hubs add a logistics line to the quote, and we plan certification visits accordingly.

Will solar power my AC or my freezer?

Yes — our 3kVA Home Standard package and above support inverter ACs and freezers. Sizing depends on how many AC units, BTU rating, and how many hours per day you want them on solar vs hybrid mode. We confirm this in the load audit before quoting.

What happens during the rainy season?

Production drops by roughly 30–40% on heavy overcast days. Hybrid systems automatically blend grid charging on cloudy days so the battery bank stays topped up. We size battery storage with this in mind.

Do I get documentation for insurance or estate authorities?

Yes. Every installation comes with a single-line diagram, bill of materials, equipment serial numbers, warranty pack, and a commissioning report. Estates and corporate clients get a soft copy and a printed binder.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes — for installations above ₦1.5M we offer split payments: 60% on contract signing (covers materials), 30% on delivery to site, and 10% on commissioning and handover.
